.... The Tas Otel proved to be a real sanctuary (in a very real sense of the word) since we experienced the sad event of the attempted coup whilst at the hotel and despite the real worry, concern and fear amongst your staff they continued to look after us as before. A truly exceptional, professional and ultimately human service. We can't thank the team enough. And I haven't mentioned the quality of your facilities - wonderful!
Salih Bey'in de bana gittiğim gün yardımlarını asla unutmayacağım. Gerçekten minnettarım. Otelin kapısını arkamdan çekip gitmek zorunda kaldığımda, sizlerden, tatlı kediciklerden ve özellikle Pan'dan artık ayrıldığımı anlayınca, gözlerim doldu. Günlerin nasıl geçtiğini anlamadım. Tas Otel, Tas Otel ailesi (tüm üyeleriyle:)) bana huzur dolu günler gecirmeme sebep oldu gercekten:)
Sizleri tekrar ziyaret edeceğim, tekrar o güzel otelinizde kalmayı cok istiyorum ve özellikle sizleri görmeyi.

“Tas (stone) Hotel but HeartWarming”
Despite the weather was not pleasant, staff created the sun in our hearts. What a beautiful people, not driven by commercial interests but a real love and respect to humanbeing...So it is indeed a Tas (stone) house with heartwarming charm with staff and its energy.
The only regret, we have not met with Zeynep hanim, all Alacati people love and respect her for her outstanding contribution to the promotion of the town.

“Too short a stay!”
…Had we know how charming the town is and how comfortable Alacati Tas Otel is, we would have planned a longer stay.
Our room was beautifully renovated, bright and comfortable and the bathroom was lovely and had great smelling olive oil products. We could tell how much time, money and love went into restoring the building and really admired the detail.
Shortly after we arrived, we were invited to tea and cake in the verdant poolside garden. In the morning, we came back to the garden to find a scrumptious Turkish style breakfast…
If we get a chance to come back to Turkey, we will definitely come back to the Alacati Tas Otel.

“Fabulous Stay in Alacati”
…fabulous on all accounts! The hotel is beautiful, quiet, impeccably clean and so comfortable--we felt at home from the very start.
In addition to the beauty of the hotel and its ideal location (at the end of the main village street) the staff makes Tas an perfect place to stay. We found all members of staff to be extremely warm, welcoming and knowledgeable. More than one member of staff gave us their personal cell phone numbers in case we had any issues or questions as we were out exploring.
This was above and beyond attention to our needs and clear concern for our comfort. The hotel serves a fabulous, homemade breakfast every morning and provides homemade cake and tea every afternoon.
We so enjoyed this amazing hotel and feel it contributed directly to our love of Alacati and our perfect stay!

“Spectacular Staff And Charming Style”
…perfect spot for a romantic getaway on Turkey's beautiful Cesme Peninsula. The hotel, a former private home, has been tastefully renovated with class, style and a great sense of history…
But what really makes a hotel are the staff. The owner and her crew are a remarkable bunch: friendly, helpful and genuinely happy you are staying in their care. Tas was the first boutique hotel in Alacati. It was clearly a labor of love. At the end of our stay, we left for the airport at 4:30am; the staff insisted on sending us off with breakfast.
Tas is one of the finest boutique hotels my wife and I have encountered after years of traveling.
Book a room here--you'll leave with great memories.

“A very special treat”
It was a magical experience to stay at the Tas Hotel for me and my daughter…The staff is so friendly, always helping and smiling. The breakfast is a feast and the tea time cakes are very special and delicious. Ms. Zeynep gives her guests a special recipe book including all their tea time cake recipes, a touch of elegance! What a wonderful, unique and unforgettable experience…

“A Highlight in a Memorable Trip”
A beautiful place in a picturesque village. The staff is superb - friendly and accommodating. We looked forward to tea "time" on the terrace by the pool. No detail has been overlooked to ensure that your stay is enjoyable. Found it hard to leave Tas Otel and Alacati.

“Subtle and classy”
Taş Otel has been the landmark place in Alaçatı for all these years. As it turns out, for good reason. Good service is not an accessory but is internalized. When you get sick, you are not called a cab but driven to the hospital. It comes as natural as the cats strolling in the garden….

“All others pale to the original”
There really is no other place! Perfectly located just far enough away from "restaurant mile" to be peaceful just close enough to be a lovely stroll back and forth, this should be your only choice. Zeynep (the owner) and Salih (the manager) are sheer perfection! And Yusuf a delight in helping advise on all things local. If I could return here every year, i would - I'll be back next year!

Tas Hotel has no equal! … Ms. Zeynep Özis, with her unique style has created a very charming atmosphere in one of the loveliest regions of Turkey…The staff is very welcoming and their life seems to be ruled by love of hospitality…Your breakfast is served on crisp white linen tablecloth, which adds a further note of elegance.

“Home Away From Home”
… Afternoon tea with homemade cakes, tea and coffee, are on the house and when I'm typing this commentary my hub and I are actually enjoy our winter afternoon next to a real fireplace in the common area lined with carpets and lovely decor. If you're a pet love you'll love this lovely otel. The cat will happily sit on your lap while you read a book!

… a wonderful small hotel with fantastic staff who really made a difference to our stay. They couldn't have been more helpful and accommodating and really wanted you to enjoy the holiday. 5* service.

“Every bit as good as they say”
We've been privileged to stay at some wonderful places over the years, and Tas Otel is right up there with the best of them…best of all, Zeynep and her team are absolutely delightful - warm, welcoming and unfailingly cheerful and helpful. It's hard to imagine how anyone wouldn't find a stay here good for the soul.

There really wasn’t a bad thing we could say about Tas Otel, except we didn’t stay long enough!
From the otherside, Melbourne, 1 September 2012
If you want to stay in the first original boutique hotel of Alacati you stay here. We absolutely loved our room, size, the natural light, noticable timber and stone work all of which has been restored and kept in its original state. The room upkeep must also be mentioned, room service and the attention to detail was of the highest standard…Tas otel offers the platform to take one self to a peaceful place to cler the mind and heal the soul … We also adored the cats, very playful and they defiantly put a smile on your face.

… The hotel is a very old building, renovated by its amazing owners, and became one of the nicest boutique hotels in Alacati. We got the room no 8, which is kind of a private room seperated from the main building which we loved ! …The hotel is exactly next to the main atttaction area of Alacati, but away from the hassle and bustle of people.

“Delightful small hotel”
As near perfect as an hotel can be… The breakfasts, Turkish and western, were homemade and delicious, but the piece de resistance was the included afternoon tea - everybody made sure to return in time for this!
The factor however that sets this little hotel apart is the friendliness and standard of service. Without in any way being intrusive, Zeynep, Salih and ALL the staff made one feel part of the family.
Finally, it is an added bonus if you are an animal lover. We loved every minute!

“Gracious, knowledgeable, and what a breakfast”
The Taş Otel pretty much defines the word "gracious." Zeynep and each of her employees went out of their way to make sure we had a perfect stay. … there were fresh-baked dairy-free apple cakes because of my milk allergy.

“Un perfecto lugar de descanso y gozar de la generosa hospitalidad turca”
… Las habitaciones (7) son el reducto donde recogerse y descansar a gusto, con un ambiente mezcla entre lo principesco y la sencillez. Todos los empleados del Hotel acogeran de inmediato cualquier pregunta o sugerencia y le proporcionarán todo aquello que necesite. El hotel invita a quedarse por largo tiempo, a la par que disfrutar de la calidez de los habitantes de este tradicional y moderno pueblo.

This is Turkish hospitality at it's best - and believe me this country knows a whole lot about hospitality. While we are glad we started our stay in Turkey with Alacati and at Tas, I think they set the bar too high for the rest of the trip experience to follow.

When I arrived in Alacati, the children of the neighbourhood and the staff of the hotel welcomened me by a hand-kiss. The hotel is very beautiful restaured by the owner, Zeynep Özis with great care and love.

… Throughout our travels we'd been impressed by the hospitality of the Turkish people, but finishing our time away at the Tas Otel was like the exclamation mark… that engaging spirit that impressed us when we entered the hotel grew steadily during our six days there. The Tas Otel is the perfect place to stay in Alacati. My husband and I honeymooned there this past August and can not stop raving about it... “excellent, comfortable and clean and represents good value for money”
.......... the first thing to say is that it is exactly as it is described on their website.
… breakfast … to be an all round pleasant experience, with unlimited amounts of coffee, fresh bread and all the preserves (cherry, fig, peach, plum, marmalade and honey) cheese, herbs, olives, eggs and fresh orange juice… The pool was clean and well maintained … with plenty of clean towels provided and along with the sun-beds, deckchairs, hammock and external shaded lounge area and the lack of general noise… The staff were excellent and there were enough English speakers to ensure that communication was never a problem.
